Our Story…

Welcome to Baan Phad Thai, a family run Thai restaurant located in the heart of Reddish. “Baan” means “Home” in Thai and that’s exactly what we aim to create; a warm, welcoming space where you can enjoy truly authentic Thai food, just as it’s made in our family kitchen.

Baan Phad Thai is run by a mother & son team who share a deep passion for traditional Thai cooking & warm hospitality. Our Head Chef, originally from the Isaan region of Northeastern Thailand, brings with her over 30 years of experience in Thai Cuisine. Her recipes are rooted in the rich culinary heritage of Isaan - known for bold, vibrant flavours & rustic, home-cooked style.

At Baan Phad Thai, we believe great food comes from the heart. That’s why all our food is prepared fresh to order, from our spicy papaya salad to our fragrant Thai curries, to give you a taste of authentic Thai flavours. Whether you’re familiar with Thai cuisine or discovering it for the first time, we’re here to help, with friendly service and a genuine love for what we do.

As a small, independent restaurant, we take pride in offering something truly personal. Not just a taste of Thailand but a reflection of our families story, heritage & hospitality. Our goal is simple! To make every guest feel at home & to share the delicious, comforting flavours that we’ve grown up with.
